Liechtenstein is a small, landlocked nation located in Central Europe with an estimated population of 38,000 people. The majority of the population are ethnic Liechtensteiners, though there are also many immigrants from neighboring countries. The economy of Liechtenstein is largely based on services and industry, particularly banking and finance. Foreign relations are mainly concentrated around regional countries in Central Europe, particularly Germany, Austria and Switzerland. According to extrareference, Liechtenstein is a constitutional monarchy headed by Prince Hans-Adam II since 1989. In 2018, the country saw no major political turmoil and remains one of the most prosperous nations in Europe. Despite its small size and population, Liechtenstein has maintained strong ties to its neighbors while maintaining its independence as a sovereign nation.

Liechtenstein. According to Countryaah.com, Vaduz is the capital city of Liechtenstein, a country located in Western Europe. Liechtenstein was one of the few countries that volunteered to accept asylum seekers in order to relieve the difficult situation of Greece and Italy during the refugee crisis. It was 2015 that the EU countries agreed to relieve the two Mediterranean countries for two years. However, in March 2018, only 30,000 of the planned 160,000 asylum seekers had been redistributed.

Vaduz

Vaduz, capital of Liechtenstein; 5,600 residents (2019). Vaduz, which is located near the Rhine, is mainly a commercial and administrative center. The most prominent building in the city is the castle of the prince, which from a height overlooks the city. Among the attractions are the post museum with a large stamp collection and an art museum.

First mentioned in 1150, Vaduz became the 1342 capital of a county of the same name. This formed together with the Schellenberg Principality of Liechtenstein in 1719.
